Bình Dương sắp có thêm TP Bến Cát và Tân Uyên

Bình Dương đang hoàn thiện hồ sơ đề án thành lập thêm 2 TP là Bến Cát và Tân Uyên trực thuộc tỉnh.

Ngày 1/4, tại cuộc họp báo về tình hình kinh tế xã hội quý I năm 2022, UBND tỉnh Bình Dương thông tin tỉnh đang xây dựng Đề án thành lập TP Bến Cát và TP Tân Uyên.

Theo UBND tỉnh Bình Dương, trong năm 2020 và năm 2021, tỉnh đã ban hành các văn bản cho chủ trương về việc thành lập TP Bến Cát, TP Tân Uyên và xây dựng đề án đưa nhiều xã lên phường.

Đến nay, đã hoàn chỉnh dự thảo Đề án thành lập phường An Điền, phường An Tây thuộc Thị xã Bến Cát và thành lập TP Bến Cát thuộc tỉnh Bình Dương.

Dự kiến, tháng 4/2022 sẽ tổ chức lấy ý kiến cử tri trên địa bàn thị xã.

Tháng 5/2022: Thông qua HĐND cấp xã cho ý kiến và ban hành Nghị quyết; Thông qua HĐND cấp thị xã cho ý kiến và ban hành Nghị quyết.

Tháng 5 – 6 năm 2022: Hoàn chỉnh Đề án gửi Sở Nội vụ, UBND tỉnh, HĐND tỉnh. sau đó trình Trung ương theo quy định.

Một góc thị xã Bến Cát.

Tuy nhiên, khó khăn, vướng mắc việc thành lập TP Bến Cát là khu vực dự kiến thành lập phường là An Điền và An Tây hiện chưa có trong quy hoạch Nam Bến Cát cũ. Hiện Bến Cát đã thực hiện điều chỉnh quy hoạch và đang chờ UBND tỉnh phê duyệt.

Đối với việc nâng cấp Thị xã Tân Uyên thành TP Tân Uyên, hiện nay, địa phương đã xây dựng Kế hoạch xây dựng Đề án thành lập TP Tân Uyên thuộc tỉnh Bình Dương và đã hoàn chỉnh hồ sơ nâng cấp Thị xã Tân Uyên thành TP Tân Uyên trình UBND tỉnh thông qua kỳ họp UBND tỉnh thường kỳ tháng 3.

Hiện Thị xã Tân Uyên đang hoàn chỉnh hồ sơ trình HĐND tỉnh và trình Trung ương theo quy định.

Nếu được các cấp phê duyệt thông qua việc thành lập 2 TP này thì Bình Dương sẽ có 5 TP trực thuộc tỉnh.
